So I just bought a few credits from Navigraph to update my FMS after reading some old threads here about where to get the updates. I have setup the Navigraph FMS Data Manager. Monacor pa 900 manual transfer. FMS Data Manager did not find the J41 in the scan so I am adding it manually via the 'Addons Mapping' /'+Add' My FSX location is correct in the settings, My PMDG folder is selected.? Guess that's right. Do I place it: G: Program Files (x86) Microsoft Games Microsoft Flight Simulator X PMDG Navdata And how do I check the FMS to make sure is is now updated? Robert Hollis. I juat bought it today (in may) and I have the same numbers on FMC so startup, so either I messed it up too, or that a serial number or something else ( 179600709 SM02).
The data manager couldn't find my J41 either, and even the installer in the zip couldn't find it. I had to manually move the folders after they were installed in the wrong place.
I THINK i got it, but I dont know as there appears to be no way to display on the FMC that displays which airac cycle the FMC is using. Slightly annoying i will say.
Details- Instead of putting the navdata and sidstars folders in FSX-PMDG, it creates ANOTHER folder with in the PMDG folder called PMDG which when opened, has the actual navdata and sidstars folder that have the data. Fairly easy fix, but I do wish the J41 FMC would display the airac cyle its using somewhere.
When you are setting up the Navigraph data manager for updating PMDG aircraft, you only have to point the installer at your FSX root directory - I.e. The main folder where FSX itself is installed.
How To Install Navigraph To Fs9 Aircraft
If you do this, the files will automatically be installed in the FSX PMDG Navdata folder that already exists. If you point the installer at the PMDG folder instead, it will 'bury' the files two layers too deep - you will end up with the folder structure: FSX PMDG Navdata PMDG Navdata which won't work. You do NOT have to install AIRAC updates for PMDG on a per-aircraft basis. All PMDG products, the 747 V1, MD-11, 737NGX, 777 and JS-4100 share the same common nav database. If you update one, you update them all. When you are setting up the Navigraph data manager for updating PMDG aircraft, you only have to point the installer at your FSX root directory - I.e.

This is what happened. You said it much more better than I done said it. It was my fault I should have trusted the program lol.
FMS Data - Manual Install The recommended way to download data is through the software, which is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Manual installer downloads are provided here for legacy reasons, and as a backup routine if there are any issues with updating through the Manager. Click the 'Download' button to download a particular dataset to your computer.
The 'Access' button downloads an Access Code which you can use to unlock services based on Navigraph FMS Data hosted on other servers. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to do so before the download starts. Upon login you may also be asked how you would like to pay for the data. To download FMS Data you need a subscription to our FMS Data services. Subscriptions are available both as yearly and monthly plans, and can also be bundled with. See the for the different options and pricing.
Please note: This page does not support download manager software which throttles download speed. All files are created dynamically upon request and are watermarked with information identifying the logged in user. Popup blocking software can also potentially interfere with the download service. You can do it manually. The problem I had was the directory is called FSX - not FSX-SE, and that was created by Steam. I have a brand new machine with only the Steam edition installed. Actually, Carenado was looking for the 'FSX-SE' directory (probably to install the Navigraph data to the dll) but couldn't find it.

I manually added the info to the dll.xml in the FSX directory and as soon as I fired up the sim, it started updating the FMC database. Also, make sure the spelling is the same for 'CarenadoNavigraph.dll' in both the dll.xml and the CarenadoNavigraph.dll Hope this helps.
► Little Navmap - Install Navigraph Updates Little Navmap - Install Navigraph Updates Please Note. I recommend to use the automatic scan in the FMS Data Manager which usually finds the correct path. Use the method below only if the automatic scan does not work for you. Close Little Navmap when updating its database.
Little Navmap might crash otherwise. MacOS Users If the automatic scan does not find the folder for Little Navmap you have to add the mapping manually as shown below for Windows users. When you add the mapping manually in the FMS Data Manager it should read /Users/YOURUSERNAME/.config/ABarthel. But macOS does not allow to select this directory since it is hidden. Therefore you have to apply a trick: If the folder selection box is open press Command+Shift+. (period) keys to show the hidden files (i.e. All files and folders that start with a period).

Then you can get into.config and select the folder ABarthel. Windows Users See screenshots below. Select Little Navmap in Addon Mappings: Select the User Defined Folder option: Select the correct Folder Do not select littlenavmapdb. The finished mapping ready to update: Last upddate on Thu, 07 Dec 2017 21:00:00 +0000.
Double click the file.EXE. Then install for FSX and the files are automatically installed in the folder 'PMDG'. 1) Open the folder containing the update wish (open the PMDG folder). 2) Run the file located. 3) Check the Backup installed cycle box and the box of FSX, FS9 or P3D depending on your simulation software then press Next.
4) Enter the path to FSX default to touch anything and then click Next. 5) Add Full install (all boxes checked) and click Next 6) Click Install and wait 7) Click Finish.
